SRHS Weekly Updates as of 10-26-25
Posted on 10/26/2025

Dear Falcon Families,

We hope everyone is enjoying the end of their weekend. This past weekend, our Falcon Playhouse closed their production of “The Little Prince.” Thank you to all who came to support our cast and crew, and see our Falcons perform on stage. The next production for our Falcon Playhouse is, “Mama Mia!,” set to open in mid February. For information about the remaining show schedule and tickets, please visit the website: LINK. Our fall sports are ramping up to end their seasons strong! Check out the website to find out about final games, seniors nights, and upcoming CIF championship information. Go HERE for more information.

This Saturday, November 1st, our marching band will host the Falcon Invitational here in the Scripps Ranch stadium at 2pm. More than a dozen bands will be present and competing. If any community members would like to help, and for more information, go HERE

This is Halloween week! In the spirit of Halloween, students are welcome to wear costumes to school on Friday 10/31, as long as they follow the dress code. Costumes must be school-appropriate, and while minimal face paint is allowed, masks and full face coverage are not permitted so that students remain recognizable.

This week also marks the end of the second progress report grading period (ending October 31st). If your student is struggling in any course, please encourage them to follow up with their teacher and explore the many available tutoring options. We encourage all students to self-advocate and use resources like SR6 (Saturday School) to get caught up on missing assignments or improve their grades before the semester ends. The Extended Day program will begin the week of November 3rd for students needing to make up English and Chemistry credits. Families will receive information from the counselors if students are in need of this program.

As always, please remind your students to check their grade level Google Classroom for updates and to stay connected with the ASB Instagram page for event details and upcoming deadlines. See below for this week’s important reminders about the Extended Day program, SR6 (Saturday School), Yearbook deadlines, Project Ujima, the ongoing College Series, and more.

Happy Halloween week, Falcons!

Student Drop-Off and Pick-Up - Reminder

At Scripps Ranch High, during pick-up and drop-off times has been a problem since our school has “one way in and one way out.” In order to limit traffic as much as possible, we are asking parents/guardians to drop off their students in designated locations on the East Side of Falcon Way, Scripps Lake Drive, or Treena Street. See this Student Drop-Off & Pick-Up for details. Please do not park along any curbs that are painted red in front of the theatre or at the top of Falcon Way; these are to be kept open in case of emergency. View these Traffic Safety Tips for drivers and students from SDUSD.
