Blue Slips/Attendance
If you need your child to leave early from school, blue slips for medical, dental or other appointments must be obtained in the Attendance Office before a student leaves campus early. The parent or guardian must call the Attendance Office before 9:30 AM to arrange for a blue slip. Please click on this informational Attendance Video so you and your child are aware of what is expected when leaving school early or when your child is tardy. Our attendance clerks, Ms. Parra and Ms. Savage field many calls in the morning including listening to voicemails from parents who are picking up their student(s) for appointments

The session shared information about developing future goals and plans, creating a resume and how to develop a portfolio. As well as, showing how to use the goals and plans post high school features, how to navigate the career and college searches and how to create a professional portfolio. Please click here to see the recorded session. *Reminder ALL students already have a Xello account through the district and they access it by signing in through Clever.com Click here for further directions on the counseling website.

Students who are unable to attend labs for college application assistance can see their counselor at lunch to set up a different time that works.
Senior Transcript Requests: If your student is applying to UCs/CSUs, their initial transcript is not required unless they have an extenuating circumstance. In that case, they should reach out to the registrar, Ms. Lamar at [email protected] prior to requesting their transcript.
Transcript Message on Xello: When students request a transcript, Xello will show the following message, "Your high school is processing your transcript. If this status has not changed in 2 days, contact your school counselor." Please disregard that general message from Xello, we require up to two weeks to send a transcript.
That’s all for today. Enjoy the rest of your Sunday.
