California Health Kids Survey – Parent Version – Closes March 25th – Please Remember to Take the Survey!

The California Healthy Kids Survey is one of the most essential pieces of data we use to assess our progress as a school in terms of school culture, safety, school connectedness, promotion of parental involvement, etc. Traditionally, we have an extremely low participation rate from parents and we’d like to change that this year. We'd like to ask you to complete this online survey to learn more about your opinions of Scripps Ranch High. This Link: CA Healthy Kids Parent Survey Info explains the survey and, at the bottom of the page, provides your parent-survey URL and access instructions. Students have a different link and will be taking the survey in class this week. The information you provide will help guide district and school efforts to promote safety, enhance learning supports, and improve student achievement.

Course Change Requests for Next Year

All students were given the opportunity to change their course requests in their one-on-one meetings with their counselor. If students want to make new changes they will have an opportunity to request a level change in core subject courses (English, Math, Science and History) in June on a form that will be provided by counseling. Students who would like to change their elective classes will be able to make that request during Kick-Off in August. We appreciate your understanding that counselors will not be able to respond to course request changes via email and all future changes will need to be requested at the predesignated times shared in this message.

Summer School

Click here for information about the district's Level Up Extended Day Learning Opportunities, including remediation summer school.

That’s all for today. Thanks and I hope you enjoy the rest of your Sunday.
