SRHS Weekly Updates as of 3-1-26
Posted on 03/02/2026

Dear Falcon Families,

We hope you’ve recovered from our recent rainy weeks and are now enjoying the warmer weather the last few days. March is here, bringing the promise of spring; spring sports, spring break, and moving closer toward our end of the year activities.

Congratulations to our Girls Water Polo team as the 2025 Division 3 Section Champions, and to our Boys Basketball advancing to CIF quarterfinals! The wrestling team’s season continues as many of our Falcon athletes have qualified for masters:  Sophie Geller, Soren Mendoza, Malia Kollmeyer, Khyla Adams, Mariane Meriga, Jayda Nicholson, Jonathan Huynh, Rostam Hosseini, Matthew Tung, and David Henderson who was still competing this past weekend.

Last week our Falcon Playhouse closed its incredible production of Mamma Mia! The Falcon Players are now working toward their last production, a “black box” play. (see below for the link to more information). Spring sports are underway so check the calendar and come out to cheer for our student athletes.

On Friday we welcomed the rising freshmen (current 8th graders) to campus for tours, performances, and more, all to learn about what our Scripps Ranch Campus has to offer them next year. The students had a great time getting to know the campus and we were excited to have them here.

This coming week, our 11th grade students will participate in a Suicide Prevention Education program, and the ASB will host a Blood Drive. Please remember there is no school on Friday, March 9th, due to district scheduling.

As we come to the mid-semester point, now is a great time for students to pause and reflect on where they might need help in a course. Students can take advantage of peer tutoring, SR6 (Saturday School), and individual teacher tutoring. Please encourage your students to check their grades and follow up with their teachers so they can continue to do their best throughout the semester.

As always, students should continue to check their grade level Google classroom for updates on events and deadlines. Springtime brings lots of fun moments for our Falcons - remind your students to check in and be aware of everything the Falcon community has to offer!

In this week’s update, you’ll find updates and reminders about the SR6 (Saturday School), Summer School, the upcoming College Fair, Grad Nite and Graduation Information, Kick Off Date Reminders, and more.

See below for the latest updates as of 3-1-26.
