Dear Falcon Families,
As we wrap up week 10 of semester two, we close with a three day weekend and open with daylight savings time. Don’t forget to set those clocks ahead!
For all the latest updates on our Falcon athletics, including game times, scores, rosters, and other information, please visit srfalcons.org. In other extracurricular news, keep an eye out for upcoming dance productions, theater productions, band productions, and more. Visit the Scripps Ranch website for the school calendar and the Falcons Playhouse website for information on the theater productions.
Have you checked your students’ grades lately? Now is a great time to sit down and do a quick review with your student. If you find your student is struggling, please encourage them to reach out to their teacher to schedule a time to talk about additional support. Students can take advantage of peer tutoring, SR6 (Saturday School), individual teacher tutoring, or after school tutoring rooms. Please encourage your students to follow up with their teachers so they can continue to do their best throughout the semester.
On March 15th, the San Diego Unified’s Indian Education Program, in collaboration with Miramar College’s Native American Student Support and Success Program (NASSSP), will host a Youth & Social POW WOW. The event will take place at Miramar College on the Hourglass Community Field. See this flyer for more information about this exciting community event.
To be on top of all school events, students should regularly check their grade level Google classroom for updates and deadlines. Springtime brings lots of fun moments – remind your students to check in and be aware of everything the SRHS community has to offer.
As a reminder, Ramadan to Go Meals are still available and will continue to be until March 28th. In this week’s newsletter, you’ll find updates and reminders about the upcoming CAASPP testing, Summer School, Grad Nite and Graduation Information, Kick Off Date Reminders, and more.
See below for the latest updates as of 3-9-25.

Bullying/Report a Concern Link - Reminder
For instances of bullying or to report a concern, please use this Bullying Report Link; the link is also posted at the very bottom of our school website. You will then select “Report Bullying.” The very first question asks “Is your concern about the conduct of an employee?” If the answer is yes, it will direct you to a different form. Prior to filing a report, we ask that you review the district’s best practices for resolving concerns, which starts at addressing the concern directly at the site level. Once reports are submitted they are received by the district’s Office of Investigations, Compliance & Accountability (ICA). A member of their team will reach out to you to confirm receipt and ask any pertinent questions. Ultimately the report will be directed to the site-level authority for resolution.
