Dear Falcon Families,
Another successful school year in the books! As the school year comes to a close, we want to congratulate the Class of 2026 for all their accolades and achievements and helping to make Scripps Ranch High School the special place that it is. On Thursday, we graduated 483 students. It was an incredible evening as we ushered our amazing students into the next step in their journey. I was honored to serve as principal to this inspiring group, and I feel privileged to lead our incredible staff here at Scripps Ranch High School.
Thank you to all our Falcon Families for their amazing support this school year. I hope this summer brings joy and relaxation, and some special time with loved ones. After you’ve recharged, we’ll be ready and waiting to start another fabulous year in August.

The Scripps Ranch Schools Committee is requesting some help to plan their agendas for 2026-2027. The Scripps Ranch Schools Committee (SRSC) serves as the voice for and represents the interests of the six public non-charter schools in the Scripps Ranch Cluster. They bring together residents, families, teachers, and school personnel to raise awareness, research and discuss issues, and make recommendations to SDUSD, the Board of Education, and the City of San Diego.
The meetings are open to all community members. They meet on the third Wednesday of each month at 4:30 PM throughout the school year, with the first meeting of the 2026-27 school year being on August 19, 2026.
To help set the agendas for the SRSC in 2026-27, the SRSC is asking everyone to complete this 3-5 minute survey below on topics you’d be interested in hearing about. There will not be time to cover everything on the list, but they will use the community's stated priorities in setting the agendas for the year. SRHS Annual Kick-Off Dates
Please save the following dates for our annual SRHS Kick-Off event. This is an important event where students return to campus to prepare for the upcoming school year!
- 9th & 10th Grade: Wednesday, July 29
- 11th & 12th Grade: Thursday, July 30

Regarding final transcripts: The registrar does not know the exact date when senior grades will be finalized by the district, but rest assured, all senior grades and transcripts will be uploaded prior to college/university deadlines. As soon as the registrar is notified that final grades issued from San Diego Unified School District are finalized, final transcripts will be sent to the college/university you requested on our google form and in Xello/Common App at the beginning of the school year.
If you took any course outside of San Diego Unified School District, (including CCAP courses, Charter School of San Diego, San Diego Community College District), it is your responsibility to request transcripts from those institutions separately to submit to your chosen college/university.
Please review the registrar’s FAQs prior to emailing or calling regarding final transcript submissions located here.
It is highly recommended that all SRHS families download an unofficial transcript when grades are finalized for the semester.
Graduation Photos: DiFranco Photography
If you did not get a chance to register with DiFranco Photography before graduation, it is not too late. They had two photographers on the field to capture up-close photos of the graduates crossing the stage.
If you wish to view and purchase these photos, please register your information at difrancophoto.com/register.

Proofs will be available 24–48 hours after the event.

LCFF Data Collection for the 2026-27 School Year - from SDUSD
Our school is asking all families to complete the Local Control Funding Formula, or LCFF, form for the 2026-27 school year. The LCFF form is short, confidential, and helps ensure our school receives the state funding and resources for which we are eligible. Families can complete the form in the PowerSchool Parent Portal using a parent/guardian account. Please note that the form is not available through student accounts.
To complete the form:
- Log in to your PowerSchool Parent Portal account at https://powerschool.sandi.net
- Select the LCFF Data Collection in the left hand navigation.
- Complete and submit the short form for your student.
- Need help? Reference this step-by-step guide in English, Spanish, Vietnamese
(Please Note: The LCFF form is not available in the PowerSchool mobile app, but can be completed by visiting https://powerschool.sandi.net from the internet browser on any device – phone, tablet, laptop or computer.)
If you need help accessing your Parent Portal account, locating your student’s Access ID and Password, or completing the form, please contact our school office.Families who are unable to complete the form online may also complete the form one of the following ways:

Sports Physical Event
UCSD is hosting an Inaugural Physical Day at Canyon Hills High School on Saturday 6-13-26 from 8am-12pm. The optional screening fee is $10 (cash only). See additional details in the flyer. If your student plans to play a fall sport, consider attending.
Free Summer Meals for Kids & Teens | June 4–July 31, 2026 - SDUSD
Free summer meals are back beginning June 4! San Diego Unified’s Summer Meals Program will provide free breakfast and lunch to all children and teens (18 & under) through July 31 at more than 80 schools, libraries, parks, recreation centers, military sites, and community locations across the region. No ID or registration is required. In addition to nutritious meals, select library locations will offer enrichment activities including reading challenges, crafts, music, and family-friendly programming. Last summer, Sandi Coast Cafe served nearly 300,000 meals to children across San Diego County. To learn more, visit https://sdunified.info/summermeals.
