SRHS Weekly Updates as of 1-14-24
Posted on 01/14/2024

Dear Falcon Families,

I hope everyone had a good week. As a reminder, unfortunately for this month I will be off campus serving as a district representative for a trial. As a result of me being off campus, I will have very limited access to my email so I will do my best to get back to you in a timely manner if you reach out. If you have an urgent matter, please reach out to one of our Associate Principals.

We are going into the last week of semester 1. I want to wish all students the best of luck on their finals and I hope they have much success. Please see below for the latest updates as of 1-14-24.

* Please forward this message to your child’s email account so they have all the latest info.

The Falcon Playhouse Presents Big Fish

This year the Falcon Playhouse plans to entice viewers with stories beyond their wildest dreams from the weekends of February 29th to March 2nd and March 7th to March 9th. Big Fish the musical tells the story of a man, Edward Bloom, and how his imagination has shaped and continues to affect his relationships with others. On his deathbed, Edward Bloom comes face to face with reality, but he never fails to let go of his inspiring tales. Edward and his son, Will, share a complicated relationship that is shoved to the forefront of the musical. Despite the conflict, Big Fish ends on a heartwarming note, giving homage to fatherhood, and displaying the beauty within Edwards narratives. Big Fish will elevate the Falcon Playhouse and convey the importance of storytelling, which is vital to actors and technicians everywhere. Senior Eligibility for Prom & Graduation Ceremony

Seniors with any A, Z, T, or W codes (truancy codes) in PowerSchool attendance will be ineligible for senior privileges including prom and the graduation ceremony. Please encourage your student to arrive to campus on time and to be present for all classes. Students who were absent, tardy, or truant have opportunities to recover their attendance by attending lunch detention or SR6 Saturday sessions. Details can be found on students’ “Class of” Google Classroom.

Lets Be A Good Neighbor - Reminder

Families, we are getting concerns from our business neighbors around SRHS. The different businesses that surround our school have asked that our parents respect the driving/traffic laws and not double park and block the road/exits to their business as you wait for your student after school. Also, they ask that you please do not park in their lots to wait for your student. These are private parking lots, and even though there might be spaces available, some businesses are waiting for clients and/or employees who need to park in those spaces. Thank you for being respectful of our neighbors.
