Posted on 03/18/2024

Dear Falcon Families,

Congratulations to our 75 JROTC cadets who had a successful day at the annual Fontana Drill Competition. They competed against 17 other schools and placed in the most categories of any drill team to include the sweepstakes trophy; great job cadets! We wish them luck in their last big competition of the season which will be Golden Bear National’s in Torrance, CA on April 27th. Additional congratulations to our theater students who wrapped up their final show of Big Fish and will begin preparations for their Spring show, Clue. This week we also have many Spring sports teams competing. Good luck and go Falcons! See below for the latest updates as of 3-17-24.

* Please forward this message to your child’s email account so they have all the latest info.

Facts for Parents in the PowerSchool Parent Portal - Reminder

Starting Monday, March 11th, a new form will be added to the PowerSchool Parent Portal. It's called the 2023-24 Facts for Parents. This form will ask you to confirm that you have received the Facts for Parents booklet, which contains important updated information for families in San Diego Unified. The booklet covers your rights and responsibilities, along with district, local, state, and federal policies affecting all students. Each year, schools must provide this booklet to every parent/guardian. In the Parent Portal, you'll find the form available in English, Spanish, Somali, Tagalog, and Vietnamese. It includes a link to the Facts for Parents booklet on the district website. Please login to the PowerSchool Parent Portal and submit the 2023-24 Facts for Parents form. Throughout the school year, schools will remind any parents/guardians who haven't completed the form yet. Please contact the Scripps Ranch Site tech at [email protected]  if you do not have an access ID.
