SRHS Weekly Updates as of 6-2-24
Posted on 06/03/2024

Dear Falcon Families:

The last week of school is here and we are ready to close out the year, proud of all the work our students put in and of all they accomplished. Last Friday we celebrated our seniors with the goodbye rally, our music program had a tremendous performance at their end of the year concert, and on Saturday, the seniors celebrated the end of the year with prom. In our final week, grades 9-11 will take their finals, finishing the year strong. Seniors have events to attend this week to prepare for graduation on Thursday, June 6th. Please be sure to check the website and information below for “Senior Events” your seniors need to attend.

During the California State Championships for track last week, two of our track athletes qualified and competed. To qualify for State, Nathan Bamford WON the CIF San Diego Section, and Merrick Stroschine cleared the 15' pole vault and was an automatic qualifier for State.  At State Nathan nearly ran his PR, and then Merrick equaled his 15' PR, coming in 13th out of 34 competitors in the vault. Congratulations to both of these incredible student athletes, and thank you for representing Scripps Ranch with such excellence. You can find a picture of these talented athletes by clicking here and here

As always, please remind your students to review the list of events and deadlines by visiting the links below and checking out the ASB Instagram page.

See below for the latest updates for 6-3-24. Updates include information about this week’s finals, graduation, and dates for Kick Off next year and more.

23-24 Attendance Policy Parent Feedback
Only 4 responses so far. It should only take between 5-10 minutes to complete the survey. We will be improving our attendance policy for next year based on student, staff and parent feedback, so your responses will be looked at and will help us make decisions going forward.

This past year our attendance policy at SRHS had a new structure and accountability system. In an effort to meet the needs of our students and school community, we are seeking feedback in preparation for next year. Parents can share their feedback here: https://forms.gle/tETekQQ6mxdGnZ8A9
